Snow For Thanksgiving

We took a little Thanksgiving Day drive through Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. What a gorgeous day! We saw plenty of birds: black ducks, northern harriers, buffleheads, tundra swans, but the snow geese definitely ruled the day.

  1. It is amazing the way these birds resemble snow! The girls and I about a year ago were driving to a friend’s house and we went by a huge field (over 100 acrs). It was covered with snow geese I don’t think that up until that date I had ever seen so many snows in one place!
